16 May ZoneFox appoints Distology as its UK distributor
Partnership reaffirms ZoneFox’s commitment to working with the channel and growth plans
Edinburgh 15 May 2017 – Leading cyber-security software specialist ZoneFox, has today announced that it has appointed Distology as its distributor in the UK. The move comes as part of the company’s strategy to grow the number of channel partners it has to 15 by end of the year. ZoneFox is looking to establish partnerships with resellers, VARs and MSSP’s that operate in, and have deep expertise of, cyber-security.
Based in Stockport, Distology was established with the specific goal of setting a new standard in IT security and operates around four key principles – knowledge, experience, relationships and drive. It identified a gap within its vendor portfolio to address the growing need to provide a solution for User Entity Behaviour Analytics (UEBA) and felt that with its ability to deliver a 360 view of activities around an organisation’s data, ZoneFox was best placed to meet its requirement to work with market-leading companies.
Hayley Roberts, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Distology commented: “The cyber-security threat landscape is constantly evolving. It’s our mission to help our clients innovate in spite of this and be confident that they have the right technology in place to protect their most precious corporate asset – their employees.
To date we’ve struggled to find a company whose product can quickly identify and alert on malicious activity. In ZoneFox and its highly advanced UEBA technology we have a partner that can provide an unrivalled level of intelligence into data movement both on and off the network. It is absolutely fantastic to be able to offer a sophisticated product that mitigates the risk of large scale breaches, to our growing partner base and their customers.”
ZoneFox is a world-class security platform that effectively combats the growing issue of insider threats to businesses across multiple sectors through user entity behaviour analytics and machine learning. It has doubled in size during 2017 and is committed to creating a market-leading channel programme to accelerate its ambitious growth plans.
Howard Freeman, Channel Manager at ZoneFox commented: “We see the channel as offering us a platform via which we can rapidly grow our business. However, we want to ensure that the partnerships we form are strategic in helping us to deliver on our overall mission of becoming the number one company for 360-degree data visibility through UEBA, machine learning and human analytics. That means working with security specialists that are built from the ground up on deep sector knowledge and seek to add real value to their clients. Its ethos and values make Distology the perfect distributor for us. We’re looking forward to working with them.” Read more on CRN.
